Problems with WaveInput Plugin
Dear Community,
first I want to apologize my bad english. Hope you nevertheless help me. :)
I've got a problem with the WaveInput Plugin. For some Reason it doesn't run on my system. I want to stream music from my computer to the sqeezebox, for example from youtube, normal mp3 or the voice from livestreams. System is Win7 and Logitech Media Server Version 7.7.5
Problem is, that in the sound-control panel I can't see the "Stereo Mix" in Recording Tab..

Two Receivers, two Wireless Networks?
Hi There,
Moved to a bigger place and had to expand my Wireless Network to two Access points with (for various reasons) two different SSID's. How can I connect one Receiver to SSID1 and the other to SSID2? It looks to me like the controller Wireless setting only affects the controller and if I reconnect the receivers I have both on the same SSID?

Not advancing to next song
Hi all,
I'm running in to a problem when a current song ends. It is suppose to go to the next song on the album. However the player simply stops, and I manually have to select the next song.
I know there is an option in the LMS server settings under the "player" tab where you can select the player to advance to the next song. This is set to "play other songs in album" for the correct (only have 1) player.
Also the App on my Android (Squeezer) is not set to repeat, shuffle or any other option.
Anyone else had this problem and knows how to fix it?

Spotify : Problem after 1 year use with 3e party plugin
I'm using Sotify Premium on my Synology NAS for more than 12 mounths now. I have used it with the standard Thriode 3e party plugin. After a Perl upgrade it is not working any more. For details of my set-up see below. The listing is working with spotify but whenever album-art must be loaded it gives an error "general transient error". This means that nothing is showing and nothing can be selected.
Any Ideas ?

I want to try 7.8 or 7.9. Can I downgrade back to 7.3.3 if it doesn't work well?
I'm still running 7.3.3 with a Duet on WHS2011 because it's been blissfully stable (after so many network stability issues in earlier releases). With mainstream support for WHS2011 expiring next year, I'm testing a new box with Windows Server 2012 R2 Essentials. 7.3.3 runs just fine on this as well.
But...I'm tempted at this point to try 7.8 or 7.9 when I build the final production instance of 2012 R2.
Question: If I don't like the new version, and I uninstall it and install 7.3.3 instead, will the firmware of my Duet player/controller downgrade back to 7.3.3 as well? If so, it would give me confidence to try 7.8 knowing I have 7.3.3 as the fall back on (it's the devil I know )

New smart TV is interfering with my duet, can not connect when it is on!
We finally bought a decent size, 65 inch, smart LG 4k tv. Super nice, but when it is on, I can't control my duet when I am upstairs. My phone app, remote or web based app can't connect anymore, they just spin. I connected the tv via ethernet only, not wifi, same thing! Oddly, if something in standard definition is on, I can connect to duet, but it takes forever. If someone is watching something high definition, forget it. I can't connect at all. Does anyone have any experience with this? Would another tv have the same effect? Anyone know what could be happening? We are supposed to have 50Mbps with Comcast, although normally get around 25 (damn Comcast). Everything else seems to work on the network, by the way.

Squeezebox Duet - Cannot Find Player Since Router Replaced
I have it fixed now. I restored the duet and controller to factory settings and that fixed everything.
It took a few times to restore the duet but all is good again.

Now it says the current player is the squeezebox receiver and player type is remote.

Plugging AKG K451 headphones into RCA output sockets
My AKG K451 headphones have a documented impedance of 32 Ohms.
Will a Duet player be comfortable with such a load on its RCA/Phono output sockets, or should I interpose a headphone amplifier? I'm proposing to use this setup purely to verify that a new Duet system is fully functional.
In the past, I've used Sennheiser EH 1430 headphones (also 32 Ohms) to verify that the player is actually playing, but I'm now concerned that I might damage the player, and there's not an inexhaustible supply...

Squeezebox Receiver "not found"
Hi there, new to all this, but have been prowling the forums in search of an answer but no luck.
Have just bought a Squeezebox Receiver (on eBay but boxed and looks in good knick). Did a factory reset on it.
Have installed LMS, and also installed the LMS package on my Synology NAS.
But the Receiver will not be found in either LMS on my PC, nor the Synology package, nor the LMS app on my iPhone.
Red light is flashing on the front of the receiver, which means it's awaiting connection to the network, but no amount of resetting, factory resetting or turning off and on again will help.
Any suggestions? Doing my nut in.

Hi All
Is it possible to configure a receiver to connect to first LMS it finds on a network rather than add a specific IP address ?
I realise I'll have to still configure the receiver for the network but I'd like to try different LMS setups without having to mod the receiver cfg every time.

Adding new URL to duet - open fm
Would like to add open.fm ( http://open.fm/ ), it has multiple stations have try to add manually IP but it does not work either , any idea how to add this to duet ? open.fm exists as apps for IOS Android and windows phone , how come it's not in duet ?

volume without controller & replacement
The duet has volume settings on the controller. Once listening session is finnished this setting is remembered. If my duet controller where to break would the SB reciever be limited to the last selected volume setting.
Also do you still retain all the original controller functions when replacing it with a smart phone app. eg. internet radio

Sept 30 marks the day that Squeezebox Duet no longer supports SiriusXM?
There are rumors floating around the XMFAN forums that on September 30 you will no longer be able to stream SiriusXM on Logitech devices like Squeezebox Radio and Squeezebox Duet. Has anyone else heard this or will Logitech be updating their firmware? Not sure if I posted this in the right forum.

I ditched Wimp, where to now...?
My Duet, bought in 2008, is still alive and kicking, and I love it. However, for many years now I've been streaming from Wimp through MySB.com, and this is now starting to be unreliable. I don't know if this has anything to do with Wimp turning Tidal, but all too often I cannot play certain tunes, I get strange error messages (the latest new one being "back end server at capacity"), these kinds of things...
So now I've cancelled my Wimp subscription, and now I do not know where else to go. I know that Spotify is not supported on the Duet (it isn't, is it?) through MySB.com, so that is no option. So... what else is there? Any recommendations? Experiences?
I want a streaming service that allows me to stream directly to my Duet, and all of the music in the world would be nice, but I would also be satisfied if it only had most of western pop/rock.

rebuffering every 10 s
I have had the Duet for many years. Recently - it started rebuffering every 10 s and it is driving me crazy. I have checked the WIFI channels of my neighbors - and they are all different than mine. I have no baby monitor, no microwave, no new anything that would have started this problem. Not sure where to go from here but at the moment - Duet is totally unusable as it goes off and on every 10 s..... Have rebooted both the remote and the controller or whatever that little box is called but it still says "rebuffering" every 10 s... thanks, mb

I'm a novice on this forum... I've had my duet for a long time, and still love it. Just discovering Spotify/Pandora internet services (mostly listen to my own music)...
I'm running LMS 7.7.2 on my computer, and everything connected via home wireless network.
Haven't upgraded any software for ages (years) because everything just 'works'...
But...
Now I can't seem to get Spotify (non-premium) or Pandora. I've looked on the mysqueezebox app list, and see that you need Spotify Premium to use that app.
Is there a (3rd party) way I can use the 'free' account with either of these services, on my duet?
I've looked through old posts, and found many references to Triode's Spotify plugin, but it doesn't seem to exist anymore...???
