I pretty much keep mine in the cradle all the time, but recently I've had a few issues with often a "server reset connection" message when music stops.
It got me thinking about how long a rechargeable battery would last.
I have them in other devices and maybe 5 years is reasonable.
My controller battery is at least that age, so how long is long?
